Benefits Summary

MTU AENA offers a generous benefits package for regular full-time and part-time employees who work at least 30 hours per week. Our most important goal is to offer our employees and their families comprehensive benefits at affordable rates and to help employees achieve long-term financial stability.

Medical Options
MTU AENA Offers an Open Access POS Medical Plan with prescription drug coverage.

Dental Options
MTU AENA’s Dental Plan offers two options, both of which allow employees to obtain dental services from both network and non-network providers.

Vision Discount Program
MTU AENA’s Vision discount program saves employees money on eye exams, contact lenses, prescription and non-prescription eye glasses, and most designer frames.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible spending accounts (FSA) enable employees to set aside a predetermined dollar amount in an account to cover eligible out-of-pocket health care and dependent day care. Two types of FSAs are offered: Healthcare Reimbursement and Dependent Day Care Reimbursement.

Short-Term Disability (STD) & Long-Term Disability (LTD)
Disability insurance is designed to provide employees with a source of income in the event that an employee becomes sick or disabled and unable to work. MTU AENA pays the full cost of coverage under these plans.

Short-term disability: Disability benefits provide employees with a benefit of 70% of weekly pay to a maximum of $1,000 per week if employees are out of work for more than 7 days due to sickness or disability (zero days due to accident).

Long-term disability: Disability benefits provide employees with a benefit of 60% of monthly pay to a maximum of $10,000, if employees are out of work for more than 90 days due to sickness or disability.

Life Insurance
Basic Term Life Insurance with Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)
Regular, full-time employees receive two times annual salary up to a maximum benefit of $300,000 for basic term life insurance with AD&D coverage.·

Supplemental Term Life Insurance with or without AD&D
Regular, full-time employees may purchase supplemental term life coverage on an after-tax basis of up to three times their annual salary (maximum of $600,000).

Spouse/Domestic Partner Term Life Insurance with or without AD&D
Regular, full-time employees may purchase dependent term life insurance from $10,000 to $100,000 for their spouse/domestic partner.

Child(ren) term Life Insurance.

MTU AENA’s 401(k) Savings Plan is an essential part of employees’ retirement and savings benefits and a smart way to strengthen financial fitness.
After 90 days of service eligible employees receive a profit-sharing contribution that increases from 3% to 5% with years of service at the company. Employees can choose from either the pre-tax and/or Roth after-tax options.

Employees are also eligible to receive up to a 1% company matching contribution to help retirement savings grow faster. Employees are immediately vested in the profit sharing contribution and become 100% vested in company matching contributions after completing two years of service.

Mercedes-Benz Fleet Employee Program
MTU AENA employees are eligible for a special incentive on a lease or purchase of most new Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The Fleet Employee Program incentive is an additional reduction to the best deal employees can negotiate. This incentive can also be combined with most special lease or financial programs available through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services at the time of transaction.
Verizon Wireless Employee Discount
MTU AENA employees are eligible for exclusive savings from Verizon Wireless. Employees can take advantage of discounts on their monthly calling or data plan, phones and accessories.

Vacation time is provided to employees as compensation for their productive efforts. Vacation time generally increases with tenure and is paid at the employee’s actual rate of earnings at the date the vacation time is taken.

MTU AENA tracks extra hours worked each month through Flextime accounts. Hours in these accounts can be banked and utilized at employees' discretion for personal time off. Each employee receives a deposit of 24 hours into their flextime account at the beginning of each calendar year.
Incentive Pay
Flextime accounts in excess of 40 hours per month are paid out at a flat rate of $35 per hour.
Eligible employees receive a quarterly bonus based on company profitability. Employees are also eligible for an additional tenure bonus, determined by length of service with the company, which is paid annually.
Every year, MTU AENA recognizes ten paid company holidays. All full-time employees are eligible for holiday pay. 
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is a free resource for work/life issues. It offers confidential counseling services over the phone, online and in person. The EAP is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for employees and their families. 
Education Reimbursement
Full-time employees can qualify for up to $5,250 per calendar year for job-related coursework in accredited programs.
